The Bachelor in Banking and Finance (Hons) at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) equips students with essential skills in financial analysis, banking operations, and financial technology, preparing graduates for roles such as stock broker, banker, and finance officer.
Program Structure
- Level 1: Fundamental skills in business management, finance, accounting, and communication.
- Level 2: Advanced understanding of banking instruments, credit management, financial planning, and exposure to financial econometrics and financial technology.
- Level 3: Specialized modules, capstone project, and industry internship.
Entry Requirements
- STPM: 2 Passes with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) and a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English at SPM Level or its equivalent.
- A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) in any 2 subjects, and a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.
- UEC: 5 Grade B’s including Mathematics with a Pass in English.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Passed with a minimum CGPA of 2.5, with a Credit in Mathematics and a Pass in English at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent.
- Diploma in Accounting: Passed with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE level.
- English Requirements for International Students: IELTS 6.0, TOEFL IBT 60, Pearson (PTE) 59, or MUET Band 4.
