Course Overview

The Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (Honours) with a specialism in Forex and Investments at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) equips students with the skills to analyze, assess, and trade foreign currencies in the FOREX market. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Financial Analyst, Investment Advisor, and Forex Market Analyst.

Program Structure

Level 1: Fundamental skills in accounting and finance, including Financial Accounting, Business Economics, and Accounting Information Systems.
Level 2: Advanced topics such as Management Accounting, Taxation, Financial Management, and Forensic Accounting.
Internship: 16-week industrial training to bridge academic learning with practical experience.
Level 3: Specialized modules including Portfolio Management, Trading: Money and Capital Markets, and Foreign Exchange Trading in Practice.

Entry Requirements

STPM: 2 Passes with a minimum Grade C+ (GP 2.33) and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent.
A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) in any 2 subjects, and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.
UEC: 5 Grade B’s including Mathematics.
Matriculation/Foundation: Passed with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 and a Credit in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent.
English Requirements: IELTS 5.0, TOEFL IBT 40, Pearson (PTE) 47, or MUET Band 3.5.
