Course Overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Management at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) equips students with critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication skills, preparing graduates for roles such as Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, and Project Manager.

Program Structure

Year 1: Introduction to management, digital thinking and innovation, quantitative skills, business and communication skills, business economics, people management, accounting skills, marketing, business law, and fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
Year 2: Behavioral science in organization, innovation process, business ethics and governance, business research methods, delivering customer value, enterprise resource planning with SAP platform, operations management, e-business management, critical thinking in management, employee development, and international culture and communications.
Year 3: Strategic management, venture building, leadership theory and practice, managing people and performance, managing change, Asian economics, business management project, investigation in business management, contemporary management, and global marketing.
Internship: A 16-week industrial training to bridge academic learning with real-world experience.

Entry Requirements

STPM: 2 Passes with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) and a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent.
A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) with a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.
UEC: 5 Grade B’s with a Pass in Mathematics and English.
Matriculation/Foundation: Passed Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
Diploma: Successful completion of the APU Diploma or equivalent with academic credits equivalent to Level 1 of an Honours Degree.
English Requirements for International Students: IELTS 5.5, TOEFL IBT 46, Pearson (PTE) 51, or MUET Band 3.
