The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Marketing Management at Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) equips students with essential skills in marketing strategies, consumer behavior analysis, and digital marketing techniques, preparing graduates for dynamic roles such as Marketing Manager, Brand Manager, and Digital Marketing Specialist.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Introduction to management, accounting skills, business communication, business economics, digital thinking and innovation, fundamentals of entrepreneurship, business law, marketing, people management, and quantitative skills.
- Year 2: Business ethics and governance, innovation process, international culture and communications, business research methods, marketing intelligence and research, e-commerce, behavioral science in organization, B2B marketing, digital marketing, delivering customer value, critical thinking in management, and consumer behavior.
- Year 3: Brand management, building customer relationships, global marketing, integrated marketing communications, venture building, digital strategy and analytics, investigations in marketing management, marketing decision making, marketing management project, strategic marketing planning, retail marketing management, and leadership theory and practice.
- Internship: A 16-week industrial training to bridge academic learning with real-world experience.
Entry Requirements
- STPM: 2 Passes with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) and a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM Level or its equivalent.
- A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) with a Pass in English and Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or its equivalent.
- UEC: 5 Grade B’s with a Pass in Mathematics and English.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Passed Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
- Diploma: Successful completion of the APU Diploma or studies in another recognised institute with academic credits equivalent to Level 1 of an Honours Degree (subject to the approval of the APU Academic Board).
- English Requirements for International Students: IELTS: 5.5; TOEFL IBT: 46; Pearson (PTE): 51; MUET: Band 4.
