Program Structure

Degree Year 1: Fundamental modules including Engineering Materials, Instrumentation & Measurement, Programming with Python, and Engineering Mathematics.
Degree Year 2: Specialized modules such as Analogue Electronics, Digital Electronics, Electromagnetic Field Theory, and Signals & Linear Systems.
Degree Year 3: Advanced topics including Control Engineering, Communication Engineering Principles, Microprocessor Systems & Embedded Software, and Digital Signal Processing.
Internship: A 16-week industrial training to bridge academic learning with real-world experience.
Degree Year 4: Industry-focused modules like Switchgears & Protection, Power System Analysis, and High Voltage Engineering, culminating in engineering projects.

Entry Requirements

STPM: 2 Passes with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry), and a Credit in Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry) at SPM Level or its equivalent.
A-Level: 2 Passes (Grade A-D) including Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry).
UEC: 5 Grade B’s, including Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry).
Matriculation/Foundation: Passed the relevant Foundation programme (minimum CGPA of 2.0) with a Credit in Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry) at SPM/O-Level/IGCSE or equivalent.
Diploma: Successful completion of the APU/APIIT Engineering Diploma or a recognized Diploma in Engineering, subject to credit transfer approval.
English Requirements for International Students: IELTS: 5.0; TOEFL IBT: 40; Pearson (PTE): 47; MUET: Band 3.5.
