The Academic Bridge - Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - Accounting at Auburn University at Montgomery is an undergraduate programme designed to develop relevant academic knowledge and practical skills. Academic Bridge Program will provide you with extra academic support for one semester prior to gaining full admission to Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM). During the Bridge semester, you will be enrolled in courses designed specifically for "bridging the gap" to a continued and successful college career. Bridge courses consist of a University Success course, as well as a Math and/or English course. Throughout the semester, faculty and staff on our Bridge team will assist you by teaching you skills needed for success in college. The Bridge Program connects you with campus resources so that you can thrive at AUM. Accounting is central to enterprises from business to government, and a degree in accounting will give you a number of career choices. Auburn Montgomery's School of Accountancy is the only AACSB – International separately accredited accounting program in Montgomery and the River Region, putting AUM’s accounting program in the top 1% of accounting programs in the world. AUM offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting. When you graduate, you will be equipped to work in a variety of professional settings including public accounting, for-profit entities, and/or government/non-profit agencies. The problem-solving skills and ethical awareness you’ll develop at AUM will prepare you to gain your professional certifications and lead in the accounting profession.
