Program Structure

Research Method 1: Understanding Research Methods, including Data Analysis, Research Proposal, Mixed Methodology, Data Collection Methods, Processing and Data Analysis, Preliminary Literature Review, Presentation of Research Results, Research Strategy and Processes, Qualitative Research Methodology, and Quantitative Research Methodology.
Research Method 2: Advanced topics such as Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Multiple Regression Analysis, Structural Equation Modelling, and Multivariate Discriminant Analysis.
Research Method 3: Qualitative Research Genres, Self-reflexivity and Subjectivity, Role and Function of Literature Review, Reliability and Validity of Qualitative Research, Observations, Entering the Field, Writing up the report, and Data Analysis.

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or its equivalent qualifications as approved by the HEP Senate.
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a CGPA below 2.75 but above 2.50, or its equivalent qualifications, may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a CGPA below 2.50 but not less than 2.00, or its equivalent qualifications, may be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant field and rigorous internal assessment.
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as approved by the HEP Senate, may be accepted subject to related working experience and rigorous internal assessment.
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a non-related field with a CGPA below 2.50 but not less than 2.00, or its equivalent qualifications, may be accepted subject to 5 years working experience in a relevant field and rigorous internal assessment.
A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) or equivalent in a non-related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, as approved by the HEP Senate, and without related working experience, may be accepted subject to passing pre-requisite courses.
For international students: Minimum score of MUET Band 4 or CEFR equivalent (Mid B2), or its equivalent.
