Course Overview
The Bachelor of Arts - Communication and Technology at DePaul University is an undergraduate programme designed to develop relevant academic knowledge and practical skills. Students can choose from over 20+ digital skills offerings including photojournalism, digital advertising, graphic design, digital cinema production, or digital storytelling. Learning Outcomes Students will be able to: Apply knowledge about the history and impact of science and technology on communication practices to their intellectual and professional work. Engage critically with communication technology and its relationship to society and power, including formal societal power structures such as the law, government, politics, and private economic interests. Assess the ethical and legal rights, responsibilities, and limits of communication technology professionals. Generate media content using a variety of modes and media in an ethical, meaningful, deliberate, and socially responsible manner to improve communities.
