The Radiologic Science Interest (Health Professions) at East Tennessee State University (ETSU) is an bachelor programme designed to develop relevant academic knowledge and practical skills. Radiographers administer contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and assist physicians to complete intricate medical procedures. Radiographers are the primary liaison between patients, physicians, and health agency staff.
Radiographers are employed in health care facilities including specialized medical centers, urgent care clinics, private physicians’ offices and as educators or department administrators.
