The Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Plantation Management) (Honours) at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) equips students with comprehensive agricultural knowledge and practical skills in managing plantation crops using sustainable technologies. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Assistant Manager, Agronomist, Agricultural Consultant, and Research Officer in the plantation sector.

Program Structure

Year 1: Fundamental courses including Agricultural Farming, Plant Botany, Introduction to Crop Science, Soil Science, and Principles of Economics.
Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as Horticultural Crop Production Technology, Organizational Behaviour, Soil Conservation and Management, and Farm Machinery Management.
Year 3: Advanced topics including Environmental Biotechnology, Agricultural Biotechnology, Agribusiness, Agricultural Post-Harvest Technology, and completion of a Research Project.

Entry Requirements

STPM: Minimum 2 Principal Passes.
Diploma/Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.00.
Other qualifications as accepted by the Senate.
English Language Requirement: IELTS 5.0, TOEFL (PBT) 410, TOEFL (IBT) 60, PTE 47, MUET Band 3, or Cambridge English 154.
