Course Overview

The Master of Science in Water Resources at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL) equips students with advanced knowledge in hydrology, water quality, and water resources management, preparing graduates for roles such as water resource manager, environmental consultant, and hydrologist.

Program Structure

Major Subjects: Research Methodology, Water Resources Management, Water Quality, Surface Hydrology, Hydrogeology, Hydraulic Structures, Open Flow Hydraulics, Hydroinformatics and Decision Support Systems.
Elective Subjects: Advanced Water & Wastewater Treatment, Environmental Impact Assessment, Sediment Transport.
Research Areas for Dissertation: Water Resources Management, Surface Water/Ground Water Modelling, Water/Wastewater Treatment, Sediment/Pollutant Transport, Water Distribution and Network Design.

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a CGPA of 2.75 and above from IUKL or any institution of higher learning accredited by the government, or other equivalent qualifications approved by the Senate of IUKL.
Applicants with a CGPA of 2.5 and above may apply for admission pending internal assessment by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Infrastructure, IUKL.
International applicants are required to have a minimum score of TOEFL 550 or IELTS 6.0, or have attained a degree from a university where the medium of instruction is in English.
