Course Overview

The Diploma in Fashion Design at INTI International College Subang in Subang Jaya equips students with skills in sewing, pattern drafting, fashion illustration, fashion styling, design, and garment construction, preparing graduates for roles such as fashion designer, costume designer, fashion buyer, and textile designer.

Program Structure

Year 1: Introduction to Fashion Design, Sewing Techniques, Textile Study, Fashion Drawing Techniques, and Digital Photography.
Year 2: Advanced studies in Pattern Making, Fashion Illustration, Fashion Forecasting, Fashion Accessories & Shoes, and Fashion Market Research.
Year 3: Final Garment Construction, Fashion Design Portfolio, Professional Practice, and Industry Work Placement.

Entry Requirements

SPM: 3 credits
UEC: 3Bs
STPM: Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in 1 subject
A-Level: Pass A-Level with a minimum of 1 subject
SKM: Level 3 in Art and Design Field with 1 credit in SPM
Certificate: Pass the certificate in related field
Technical and Vocational Certificate: Related Technical and Vocational Certificate or equivalent recognized by the Malaysian Government, with one year related working experience or 1 semester bridging programme.
Others: Recognized Art and Design Certificate or equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government; and pass Portfolio Review or Art Test conducted by the College for candidates without a pass in Art Subject.
