The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education at Lincoln University College prepares students to become proficient educators in early childhood and primary educational settings. This program emphasizes child development, pedagogical practices, and community engagement, equipping graduates with the skills necessary for roles such as kindergarten teacher, primary school teacher, and educational counselor.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Language, Communication and Literacy; Children's Literature; and Early Mathematics.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies covering Child Growth and Development; Curriculum Planning; and Health, Safety, and Nutrition in Early Childhood Education.
- Year 3: Advanced topics such as Research Methodology; Program Planning and Development; and Teaching Practicum phases.
Entry Requirements
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any two subjects or its equivalent.
- A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum Grade of Jayyid.
- A pass in Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Level 4, MQF) or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- A Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00.
- Any relevant qualifications recognized by the Malaysian government.
