The Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours at Lincoln University College equips students with comprehensive knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences, including drug design, development, and distribution. This program prepares graduates for diverse roles such as hospital and clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists, and positions within the pharmaceutical industry.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses in pharmaceutical sciences and basic medical sciences.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies focusing on pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and pharmaceutics.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including clinical pharmacy, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacy practice.
- Year 4: Specialization through elective courses, research projects, and a six-month industrial and hospital training.
Entry Requirements
- A-Levels: Minimum 3Bs or 2As and 1C in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with at least a 'B' in Chemistry.
- STPM: Minimum 3Bs or 2As and 1C in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics, with at least a 'B' in Chemistry.
- Matriculation or Pre-University in Medicine and Pharmacy: CGPA of 3.0 and above with a minimum 'B' in Chemistry.
- SPM: Minimum 5Bs in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (or Additional Mathematics), and one other subject.
- Foundation in Sciences: CGPA of 3.0 and above with a minimum 'B' in Chemistry, and at least one year of study.
- Diploma in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics): CGPA of 3.75 and above, including a 'B' in Chemistry.
- Diploma in Pharmacy: CGPA of 3.5 and above.
- English Proficiency for International Students: Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent.
