Course Overview
The Bachelor of Psychology at Lincoln University provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and mental processes, equipping graduates with the skills necessary for careers in mental health advocacy, case management, research analysis, and social services.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Introduction to Psychology, Community & Mental Health, and Biological Basis of Behavior.
- Year 2: Intermediate studies covering Educational Psychology, Environmental Psychology, and Personality and Psychopathology.
- Year 3: Advanced topics such as Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Group Therapy and Family Counseling, and a Research Project.
Entry Requirements
- Pass in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) examination with at least 2 subjects (NGMP 2.0) and obtain at least credit in Mathematics and Science and pass in English at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
- Pass in Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and obtain at least credit in Mathematics and Science and pass in English at the SPM level.
- Pass in Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in psychology with at least CGPA 2.00.
- Pass in Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in any field or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and obtain at least credit in Mathematics and Science as well as pass in English at SPM level.
