Course Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Hons) at Lincoln University College equips students with technical knowledge in crop cultivation, integrated pest management, seed conditioning, agricultural chemicals, and fertilizers. Graduates are prepared for roles such as horticultural advisor, farm manager, horticulture sales or business manager, fruit and vegetable grower, park manager, and entrepreneurship in horticulture.

- Year 2: Farm Machinery and Power, Food Crop, Leadership Skills and Human Relations, Fundamental of Horticulture, Introduction of Computer Application, Plant Pathology, Introduction to Ruminant and Non-Ruminant Production, Community Service, Principles of Agronomy, Entrepreneurship, Agricultural Economics, Processing of Agricultural Produce, Research Methodology
- Year 3: Crop Process Engineering, Seed Technology, Introduction to Fisheries and Aquaculture, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering & Structures, Protected Agriculture, Industrial Training, Research Project I, Research Project II, Food Crops
Entry Requirements
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GPA 2.00) in any two subjects, and possess Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with three credits in Mathematics, one science subject, and one other subject, or its equivalent.
- Pass Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid, and possess SPM with three credits in Mathematics, one science subject, and one other subject, or its equivalent.
- Matriculation/Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, and possess SPM with three credits in Mathematics, one science subject, and one other subject, or its equivalent.
- Diploma (Level 4, Malaysian Qualification Framework) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or its equivalent.
- International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.5 for IELTS or its equivalent. If the student does not fulfill the above criteria, Lincoln University College must offer an English proficiency course to ensure that the student is proficient in the language to the standard required by the program.
