Course Overview
The Diploma in Hotel Management (ODL) at Lincoln University College equips students with comprehensive operational skills in rooms division, reception services, food and beverage service management, and food production. This program prepares graduates for rewarding careers in the hotel industry, including roles such as food production specialist, food and beverage service manager, front office manager, and housekeeping supervisor.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Introduction to hospitality industry, housekeeping management, front office management, and food & beverage service skills.
- Year 2: Event management, restaurant operations, human resource management in hotel & catering, and principles of hotel & catering law.
- Year 3: Kitchen management, beverage studies, marketing hotel & catering service, and industrial training.
Entry Requirements
- SPM: Pass with credits in 3 subjects; or
- UEC: Pass with at least grade B in 3 subjects; or
- Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant field: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
- Other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
