Later, in 2011, it was upgraded to Lincoln University College. Course Overview
The Master of Communication program at Lincoln University College equips students with advanced knowledge in media industry organization, practical skills in reporting and writing, and a deep understanding of media laws and ethics. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Communications Manager, Public Relations Specialist, and Media Relations Specialist.
Program Structure
- Phase/Year 1: Core courses including Communication and New Technology, Communication Theories, and Development Communication.
- Phase/Year 2: Advanced topics such as Media Ethics, Crisis Communication, and a Media and Communication Research Project.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- Bachelor’s degree with a CGPA below 2.50, with a minimum of five years of relevant working experience.
- Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.
- For international students: TOEFL score of 600 or IELTS score of 6.0, or equivalent. If these requirements are not met, English proficiency courses will be provided.
