Later, in 2011, it was upgraded to Lincoln University College. Course Overview
The Master of Education at Lincoln University College is a comprehensive program designed to equip students with advanced knowledge in educational psychology, research methodologies, and information technology in education. Graduates are prepared for roles such as lead teacher, guidance counselor, and educational administrator.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Core courses including Educational Psychology, Research and Writing in Education, and Information Technology in Education.
- Year 2: Specialization in areas such as Educational Leadership & Management or Curriculum and Instruction, along with research methodology and project work.
Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6, Malaysian Qualifications Framework) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, as accepted by the Lincoln University’s Senate.
- A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- A Bachelor’s Degree not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a relevant field.
- Other equivalent qualifications to a Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the Malaysian Government.
- International students must achieve an IELTS score of 5.5 or its equivalent.
