The Master of Nursing (Public Health) - ODL at Lincoln University College is designed for nurses seeking to enhance their expertise in disease prevention and community health. Program Structure
- Year 1: Core courses including Research Methodology, Philosophies and Theories in Nursing, and Healthcare Policies.
- Year 2: Advanced topics such as Issues and Trends in Public Health Nursing, Primary Health Care, and Leadership and Management.
- Year 3: Research Project I: Proposal, Family Health Care, and Practicum in Nursing.
- Year 4: Research Project II: Project Paper and completion of practicum requirements.
Entry Requirements
- Degree in Nursing or related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent as accepted by the Higher Educational Provider (HEP) senate.
- Registered with the Nursing Board or its equivalent.
- Possess a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years working experience for Bachelor's degree holders.
- Advanced Diploma/Certificate/Post Basic in Public Health.
- Certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner recognized by the recruiting institution.
- Proficiency in English: Pass LUC Entry English Placement test or equivalent.
- For international candidates: Temporary Practicing Certificate (TPC) for clinical program; IELTS with a minimum score of 6.0 or TOEFL with a minimum score of 600.
