Course Overview
The Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Lincoln University College is a postgraduate program designed for practitioners aiming to enhance their expertise and integrate more effectively into the healthcare system, as well as for graduates specializing in Chinese Medicine who wish to pursue research. This program equips students with in-depth knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine and acupuncture, preparing them for roles such as Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, Complementary Medicine Research Analyst, and Clinical Research Assistant.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Core courses including Acupuncture and Moxibustion I, Theories of Chinese Medicine, Research Methodology, and Computer Application.
- Year 2: Dissertation focusing on specialties such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, or Homeopathy.
Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or equivalent, as accepted by the Lincoln University College Senate.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting 2.75, subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting 2.50, with a minimum of five years of relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment.
- Candidates without a qualification in related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by Lincoln University College.
- For international students, a TOEFL score of 500 or an IELTS score of 5.0, or its equivalent, is required.
