Program Structure
- Core Modules: Anatomy & Physiology (Including – The Skin & Vascular System), Hygiene and Microbiology, Basics in Wound Healing, Wound Infection and Documentation, Classification of Dressing Material, Handling and Dressing Changes, Ulcuscruris (venosum, arteriosum and treatment pathway), Compression Therapy, Nutrition, Diabetic Foot Syndrome + Treatment Pathway, Pain Management, Wound Closure (Surgical, Stagnant and Burn)
- Elective Modules: Legal Bases in Wound Management, Evidence-Based Medicine, Palliative Therapy of Wounds, Differential Diagnosis in Chronic Wounds, Project
Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Allied Health, or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50; or
- A Bachelor’s degree in the aforementioned fields with a CGPA below 2.50, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; or
- Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
- International students must demonstrate English proficiency with an IELTS score of 5.0 or equivalent.
