MAHSA University is the abbreviation of Malaysia United Health Sciences Research Institute, founded in 2004 by Professor Tan Sri Dr. Hj. Mohamed Haniffa (Mohamed Haniffa) the Prime Minister and the Executive Chairman of MAHSA Group. Professor Haniffa is a medical clinician. His vision involves the establishment of outstanding academic excellence in the fields of medicine, biological sciences, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences, nursing, business, finance, hotel management, information technology, and engineering in Southeast Asia. Entering the second decade of the 21st century, MAHSA University envisions leading research and innovation in its field of expertise, which is driven by the needs and capabilities of IR4.0, as indicated by the results of its past research programs.

Course Overview
The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) at MAHSA University equips students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in pharmaceutical sciences, preparing graduates for roles such as community pharmacist, industrial pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, research scientist, pharmacologist, and product development scientist.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Introduction to pharmacy practice, pharmacology, physical pharmacy, and foundational sciences.
- Year 2: Advanced dispensing practices, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, and microbiology.
- Year 3: Pharmacotherapy, hospital and community pharmacy, biostatistics, and evidence-based pharmacotherapy.
- Year 4: Clinical pharmacokinetics, pharmacoeconomics, industrial pharmacy, research project, and entrepreneurship.
Entry Requirements
- STPM/A-Level: Minimum CGPA 3.00 with grades BBB/ABC/AAC in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics/Mathematics, including a B in Chemistry.
- Foundation in Science/Matriculation/Pre-Medical/Pre-Pharmacy: Minimum CGPA 3.00, including a B in Chemistry, and SPM with at least 5 Bs in relevant subjects.
- Diploma in Science (Chemistry/Biology/Physics): Minimum CGPA 3.75, including a B in Chemistry, and SPM with at least 5 Bs in relevant subjects.
- Diploma in Pharmacy: Minimum CGPA 3.50 and SPM with at least 5 Bs in relevant subjects.
- UEC: Minimum Grade B4 in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, and one other subject.
- English Proficiency: Band 3 in MUET, TOEFL score of 550, or IELTS Band 6.0 with a minimum of Band 5.5 in each skill.
