His vision involves the establishment of outstanding academic excellence in the fields of medicine, biological sciences, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences, nursing, business, finance, hotel management, information technology, and engineering in Southeast Asia. Graduates are prepared for roles such as Renal Nurse, Nurse Manager in Nephrology Units, and Transplant Coordinator.

Program Structure

Disorders of Renal Conditions: In-depth study of various renal disorders and their management.
Care of Patients with Peritoneal Dialysis: Techniques and patient care strategies for peritoneal dialysis.
Clinical Practice 1: Hands-on experience in clinical settings focusing on renal nursing.
Care of Haemodialysis Patients: Comprehensive training in haemodialysis procedures and patient care.
Care of Renal Transplant Patients: Management and care strategies for post-transplant patients.
Clinical Practice 2: Advanced clinical practice emphasizing specialized renal nursing skills.

Entry Requirements

Registered with the Nursing Board Malaysia.
Possess a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) for nurses.
Minimum two years of clinical working experience.
At least two months of experience in haemodialysis.
Medically certified as fit by a registered medical practitioner within one week of program commencement.
Candidates with the following medical conditions are not eligible: HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, mental health disorders, epilepsy, color blindness.
No physical disabilities or impaired senses that hinder nursing dexterity.
Pregnancy is not permitted throughout the course.
