Course Overview

The Bachelor of Business Computing (Hons) at Management and Science University (MSU) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of computing and business fundamentals. The program covers areas such as database systems, business management, information system management, strategic management, data communication and networks, and information system auditing. Graduates are well-prepared for careers as Business Analysts, Business Consultants, Entrepreneurs, Software Application Developers, Software Testers, and Database Developers.

  • Year 1: Computer Architecture, Database System, Data Communication and Network, Data Structure and Algorithm
  • Year 2: Object Oriented Programming, Human Computer Interaction, Principles of Economics, Software Project Management
  • Year 3: Accounting Information System, E-Commerce, Industrial Training

Entry Requirements

  • Pass in Matriculation or Foundation studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Pass in STPM or its equivalent, with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems or its equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Any other Diploma in science and technology or business studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 may be admitted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment process and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • International students need to have proof of good oral and written English proficiency, for example, a scale of 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or its equivalent
