Course Overview

Graduates are prepared for roles such as Risk Management Officer, Wealth Management Officer, Collections Officer, and Shariah Compliance Officer.

  • Year 1: Islamic Capital Market, Islamic Bank Management, Islamic Economics, Accounting for Islamic Financial Institution
  • Year 2: Financial Risk Management, Islamic Treasury, Takaful, Islamic Investment
  • Year 3: Islamic Wealth Management, Ethics in Islamic Banking & Finance, Industrial Training

Entry Requirements

  • Recognised Certificate in Matriculation or Foundation with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Pass in STPM with two full passes and a minimum CGPA of 2.0 or its equivalent, and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Pass in STAM with a minimum grade of Jayyid and a pass in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent
  • Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in MIF or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent; candidates with CGPA below 2.5 but above 2.0 may be admitted subject to an internal assessment process
  • Any other Diploma (Level 4, MQF) with a minimum CGPA of 2.5
  • Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
