Course Overview

The Diploma in Creative Audio at Multimedia University (MMU) equips students with industry-relevant skills in audio creation, synthesis, and engineering, preparing graduates for roles such as Foley Recording Engineer, Boom Operator, and Sound Designer.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Signal Flow & Studio Equipment, Audio Fundamentals, and Introduction to Digital Audio.
Year 2: Advanced topics such as Creative Audio Design, MIDI Theory & Audio Synthesis, and Industrial Training.

Entry Requirements

SPM/O-Level: Minimum Grade C in at least three (3) subjects.
UEC: Minimum Grade B in at least three (3) subjects.
STPM: Minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in at least one (1) subject.
STAM: Pass with Grade Maqbul.
Recognised Creative Multimedia Certificate or equivalent.
Recognised related Technical and Vocational Certificate with one (1) year relevant work experience or one (1) semester bridging programme.
SKM Level 3 or equivalent in a related field and SPM with at least 1 Credit in any subject.
