Course Overview

The Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours at SEGi University, Kota Damansara Campus, equips students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in chemical engineering, preparing graduates for diverse roles in industries such as oil and gas, environmental management, and energy sectors.

Program Structure

Year 1: Fundamental courses including Mass and Energy Balances, Physical and Organic Chemistry, Engineering Mathematics I, and Engineering Drawing.
Year 2: Intermediate topics such as Heat and Mass Transfer, Separation Processes I, Computational and Numerical Analysis, and Computer-Aided Chemical Engineering.
Year 3: Advanced subjects including Process Control and Instrumentation, Chemical Reaction Engineering, Environmental Management and Technology, and a 12-week Industrial Training.
Year 4: Specialized courses like Process and Plant Design, Transport Phenomena, Design Projects, and electives such as Water and Wastewater Engineering.

Entry Requirements

STPM: 2 principal passes including Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject.
A-Level: 2 principal passes including Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject.
Diploma in Engineering, Science, or Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 from a recognized institution.
Foundation Studies in Science or Engineering with a CGPA of 2.0, including passes in Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject.
UEC: 5 Bs, including Mathematics and one relevant Natural Science subject.
International students: TOEFL score of at least 500 or IELTS score of at least 5.0.
