Course Overview

The Bachelor of Early Years Education at SEGi University, Kuala Lumpur Campus, equips students with essential skills in child development, health and wellbeing, and educational policy, preparing graduates for leadership roles in early years settings, children's centres, and community services.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Understanding and Managing Children’s Behaviour, Children as Confident Learners, and Introduction to Health and Wellbeing from Conception to Young Adulthood.
Year 2: Intermediate studies such as Social Policy and Social Pedagogies, The Young Mathematician, and Supporting the Social Well-being of Children and their Families.
Year 3: Advanced topics including Child Development and Learning: Birth to Eight Years, Leading and Managing in Early Years, and Curriculum and Assessment in Early Years.
