Course Overview

The Bachelor of Education (Hons) in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at SEGi University equips students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills essential for effective English language instruction. Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Academic English, Introduction to Education, and Educational Psychology.
Year 2: Intermediate studies covering Ethics and Professionalism in Teaching, Classroom and Behaviour Management, and the first practicum experience.
Year 3: Advanced topics such as Management and Leadership in Education, Research Project, and multiple practicum sessions.

Entry Requirements

STPM – with 2 principals (minimum Grade C) and a CGPA of 2.0.
A-Level – 2 subjects with grades A to D.
UEC – Grade B in 5 subjects.
Any related Diploma or equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
