Course Overview

The Diploma in Information Technology at SEGi College Kota Damansara equips students with essential skills in data management, networking, database design, software development, and system management, preparing graduates for roles such as Network Administrator, Software Developer, and Database Administrator.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Discrete Mathematics, Information Technology, Programming Methodology, Database Management System, Web Designing, and Computer Organisation.
Year 2: Intermediate topics such as Introduction to Internet Programming, Operating Systems, Multimedia Studies, Mobile Application Development, Object-Oriented Development, Data Communication and Networking, Software Engineering, Project Management, and User Experience (UX) Design.
Year 3: Advanced learning through an Integrated System Project and a mandatory Internship to gain practical industry experience.

Entry Requirements

SPM/O-Level or equivalent: Minimum of 3 credits, including Mathematics.
UEC: Minimum of 3 credits, including Mathematics.
