Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Applied Digital Skills, Introduction to Medical Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Research Methodology, Anatomy and Physiology, Biostatistics, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Introduction to Health Informatics, Immunology, and Medical Microbiology 1.
Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as Hematology 1, Immunohematology 1, Cytology 1, Industrial Revolution 4.0 in Malaysia, Biochemistry 1, Medical Parasitology 1, Histopathology 1, and Clinical Placement 1.
Year 3: Advanced topics including Cytology 2, Medical Microbiology 2, Biochemistry 2, Histopathology 2, Medical Parasitology 2, Hematology 2, Immunohematology 2, and Clinical Placement 2.

Entry Requirements

SPM with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and 5 credits including Mathematics and Science.
O-Level/UEC with a pass in Bahasa Malaysia or English, and 3 credits including Mathematics and Science.
Related SKM Level 3 qualification.
Certificate related to Health Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.
MQA-APEL T4.
