Course Overview

The Diploma in Psychology – Online at SEGi University offers a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and experiences, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for diverse career paths in psychology and related fields.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Applied Digital Skills, General Psychology, Orientation to Psychology, Cyberpsychology, and General Language Training.
Year 2: Advanced topics such as Positive Psychology, Personality Psychology, Basic Statistics, Forensic Psychology, Biological Psychology, and Educational Psychology.
Year 3: Specialized subjects including Abnormal Psychology, Ethics in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Health Psychology, Industrial and Organisational Psychology, and Psychological Testing.

Entry Requirements

SPM with a minimum of three (3) credits in any subject and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science.
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science at SPM level.
A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science at SPM level.
A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in relevant fields with at least a CGPA of 2.00 and a pass in Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science at SPM level.
A pass in SKM Level 3, MQF in relevant fields (Note: The HEPs are required to conduct screening and provide appropriate bridging courses in Mathematics and Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science).
Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
