Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses such as Principles of Biochemistry, Introduction to Microbiology, Basic Pharmacology and Toxicology with Health Informatics, Basic Anatomy with Histology and Hematology, and Human Physiology.
Year 2: Intermediate subjects including Advanced Pharmacology, Clinical Chemistry, Human Pathology, Medical Parasitology, Clinical Genetics, Immunology, Applications of Bioinformatics, and Medical Microbiology.
Year 3: Advanced topics like Research and Laboratory Management, Epidemiology and Public Health, Nutritional Biochemistry, Applied Nutrition, Community Nutrition, and a Research Project.
Year 4: Industrial Training and Biomedical Practicum, providing hands-on experience in real-world settings.

Entry Requirements

STPM: Minimum CGPA of 2.33 in two subjects, including Biology, Physics/Mathematics, or Chemistry.
A-Level: Minimum grade D in two subjects, including Biology, Physics/Mathematics, or Chemistry.
UEC: Minimum of 5Bs, including Biology, Physics/Mathematics, or Chemistry.
Foundation in Science: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, including GPA 2.33 in two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, or Chemistry.
English Language Requirements: IELTS Band 5.5 or equivalent.
