Course Overview

The Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Creative Media at Taylor's University offers a comprehensive education in creative media design, equipping students with skills in graphic design, animation, visual effects, and user experience design. Graduates are prepared for diverse roles such as 2D or 3D Animator, Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, and Art Director.

Program Structure

Year 1: Exposure to a wide range of media to build a broad understanding of creative media design.
Year 2: Specialisation in areas such as Graphic Design, UI/UX, Digital Animation, Entertainment Design, or Immersive Design.
Year 3: Advanced topics, major projects, and industry training/internship.

Entry Requirements

Prerequisites: Pass SPM/O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits for entry with pre-university/foundation qualification (except for UEC). Pass SPM/O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits for entry with Diploma qualification. Pass Visual Test (Taylor’s FID, DID, and FNBE are exempted from the Entrance Test).
Entry Pathway: Various qualifications accepted, including Taylor’s Foundation in Design (min. CGPA 2.00), STPM (CC), UEC (min. 5Bs), A Level (min. CDD), and others.
