Course Overview

The Bachelor of Interactive Spatial Design (Honours) at Taylor's University equips students with interdisciplinary skills in spatial design, interactive technology, and smart automation, preparing graduates for roles such as Deep Learning Systems Designer, Smart Home Solutions Architect, and Augmented Environment Developer.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Spatial Design I & II, Advanced Modelling & Animation, Environment Design, 3D Modelling, Application Design I & II, Games Studies, Games Development, Programming, Embedded Systems, and Lighting Interactive Design.
Year 2: Specialisation modules in either Smart Homes Design or Smart Environment Design.
Year 3: Choose one pathway: Conventional (Multidisciplinary Projects I & II), Technopreneurship (Technopreneurship Projects I & II), or Work-Based Learning (Industry Projects I & II).

Entry Requirements

SPM/O-Level: Pass with 5 credits for entry with pre-university/foundation qualification (except for UEC).
A-Level: Minimum grades CDD.
STPM: Grade CC.
UEC: Pass with a minimum of 5 Bs.
IB: Minimum 24 points in 6 subjects.
English proficiency: MUET/IELTS/TOEFL/UEC English pass, or completion of Pre-U/Diploma conducted in English.
