The Bachelor of International Hospitality Management (Honours) (Work-based Learning) at Taylor's University equips students with essential managerial and entrepreneurial skills, preparing graduates for dynamic roles in the global hospitality industry. This program integrates cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that students are well-prepared to excel in various service-oriented positions.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Principles of Marketing, Business of Hospitality, Food and Leisure Management, Accommodation Management, and Food Safety and Sanitation.
- Year 2: Intermediate courses such as Research Methods, French Basic, Hospitality Management and Leadership, F&B Operations Management, and Hotel Innovation Management.
- Year 3: Option to choose between Conventional Mode or Work-Based Learning (WBL). In the WBL mode, students engage in a year of hands-on experience with industry partners, gaining practical, real-world skills that complement their academic knowledge.
Entry Requirements
- Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): Minimum CC with CGPA 2.00.
