The Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science (Honours) at Taylor's University equips students with comprehensive knowledge in drug discovery, pharmaceutical formulation, and manufacturing processes. This programme offers a unique extension in Cosmetic Science, preparing graduates for diverse roles such as Formulation Scientist, Manufacturing Specialist, and Pharmaceutical Product Portfolio Manager.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Human Anatomy & Physiology, Principles of Life Sciences, and Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry.
Year 2: Advanced topics such as Pharmaceutical Formulation & Development, Advanced Pharmacology, and Drug Design and Biotechnology.
Year 3: Practical applications through Product Development, Industrial Pharmacy, and a choice between a Research Project and Internship (Conventional track) or Industrial Training (Work-Based Learning track).

Entry Requirements

Foundation in Science: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, including GPA 2.33 in any two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry.
STPM: Pass with a minimum GPA of 2.33 in any two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry.
UEC: Pass with a minimum of 5Bs, including any two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry.
A Level: Minimum DD in two subjects: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry.
Matriculation in Science: Minimum CGPA of 2.33 for three subjects, including any two: Biology, Physics/Mathematics, Chemistry.
English Language Requirement: IELTS Band 5.5 or equivalent.
