Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Interior Architecture program at UCSI University in Kuala Lumpur equips students with comprehensive design, technical, and management skills, preparing graduates for roles such as interior architect, project manager, and furniture designer.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Interior Architecture Design, Design Communication, and Interior Architecture History.
Year 2: Intermediate studies in Interior Architecture Design, Technology, and Theories of Interior Architecture.
Year 3: Advanced topics such as Interior Architecture Practice, Design Report, and a 6-month Professional Interior Internship.
Year 4 (6 months): Specialization courses including Interior Architecture Design 6 and Interior Architecture Contract & Law.

Entry Requirements

Foundation in Arts/Science or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
STPM (Arts/Science stream) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 for 2 subjects.
A-Level with a minimum Grade 'D' in 2 subjects.
UEC (Commerce/Science stream) with a minimum of 5 Credits (Grade B).
SAM/AUSMAT/WACE/SACE with a minimum ATAR score of 60 or an overall average of 60% in 5 subjects.
CPU with a minimum average of 65% in 6 subjects.
International Baccalaureate with a minimum of 26/42 points from 6 subjects.
Local Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by MQA will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
All applicants must pass Art Education/Engineering Drawing or a related subject at SPM/O-Level or equivalent, or pass a Portfolio Review in replacement of the art subject if applicable.
