Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Supply Chain Operations Management at UCSI University's Kuala Lumpur Campus equips students with essential management principles and techniques for developing operations strategies and managing supply in global manufacturing operations. Graduates are prepared for roles such as supply chain design and planning, procurement and supply management, and warehouse design and management.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Microeconomics, Fundamentals of Marketing, and Transport Management.
Year 2: Intermediate courses such as Warehousing Management, Operations Management, Procurement Management, and E-Logistics: Managing Digital Supply Chain.
Year 3: Advanced courses including Sustainable Supply Chain Operations Management, Supply Chain Risk Management, Strategic Supply Chain Management, and Lean Six Sigma and TQM.

Entry Requirements

UCSI Foundation Year: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
STPM: Minimum 2 principals (C) (CGPA 2.0) in 2 subjects and pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level.
A-Level: Minimum 2 principals (D).
UEC: Minimum 5 credits (B6) and pass (C8) in Mathematics and English.
National Matriculation: Minimum CGPA of 2.0.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum score of 26 points in 6 subjects.
Canadian Pre-U: Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects.
AUSMAT/HSC/SACE/TEE/WACE: Minimum average of 60% in 5 subjects.
Other qualifications: Deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency with a minimum overall average of 60%.
Diploma (business-related): Minimum CGPA of 2.0.
