Program Structure

Year 1: Courses include Basic Food Preparation, Customer Service, Sanitation, Safety and Hygiene, Business Communication, Fundamentals of Hospitality and Tourism Industry, Food and Beverage Service, Food and Beverage Management, Housekeeping Management, Front Office Operation and Management, Introduction to Hospitality Accounting, and Cross Cultural Studies.
Year 2: Courses include Industry Placement I, Commercial Cookery, Introduction to Management and Organization Theory, Principles of Marketing, Human Resource Management, Hospitality and Tourism Law, Business Research Methods, and Independent Project I.
Year 3: Courses include Tourism Planning, Development and Management, Tourism and Business of Hotels, Introduction to Wine and Bar, Leadership and Business Performance, Event Operation Management, Casino, Club and Resort Management, Hospitality Facilities Management and Design, Hospitality Revenue Management, Independent Project II, and Industry Placement II.

Entry Requirements

Foundation Year: Pass with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
STPM: Pass with a minimum of 2 principals (C).
A-Level: Minimum 2 principals (D).
UEC: Pass with a minimum of 5 credits (B6).
English Language Requirements: MUET Band 3, IELTS Band 5.0, or equivalent.
