Course Overview

The Bachelor of International Business (Honours) at UCSI University's Kuching Campus provides students with a comprehensive understanding of international business principles, equipping them with critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills essential for success in the global marketplace. Graduates are prepared for roles such as International Trade Manager, Business Development Manager, and Corporate Communication Manager.

Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Introductory Accounting, Microeconomics, Fundamentals of Marketing, and Introduction to International Business.
Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as International Management, International Trade, Business Information Systems, and Operations Management.
Year 3: Advanced topics including Human Resource Management, International Environmental Studies, Digital Business and E-commerce Management, and International Business Strategy, culminating in a research project and cooperative placements.

Entry Requirements

STPM: Minimum 2 principals (C) (CGPA 2.0) in 2 subjects; and pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level.
A Level: Minimum 2 principals (D).
UEC: Minimum 5 credits (B6) and pass (C8) in Mathematics and English.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum score of 26/42 points in 6 subjects.
AUSMAT/HSC/SACE/TEE/WACE: Minimum average of 60% in 5 subjects.
High School Certificate: Minimum average of 60%.
High/Secondary School Diploma (Grade 12)/Canadian Grade 12: Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects.
Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects.
Canadian International Matriculation (CIMP): Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects.
Other qualifications: Recognised Foundation or Diploma from any IPTA & IPTS in the related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.0.
