Program Structure

Year 1: Foundational courses including Chemistry for Applied Sciences, Biomolecular Structure and Function, and Microbiology.
Year 2: Intermediate topics such as Microbial Genetics, Analytical Chemistry, and Food Microbiology.
Year 3: Advanced subjects including Environmental Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, and Medical Microbiology, culminating in a research project.

Entry Requirements

UCSI Foundation in Science or equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.00 and SPM/O-Level with three credits including Mathematics and one science subject.
STPM: Minimum GPA of 2.0 in any two subjects and SPM/O-Level with three credits including Mathematics and one science subject.
UEC: Minimum grade B in five subjects including Chemistry, Biology, and Physics/Mathematics.
A-Level: Minimum Grade C in any two subjects and O-Level with three credits including Mathematics and one science subject.
Matriculation: Minimum CGPA 2.00 and SPM/O-Level with three credits including Mathematics and one science subject.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum score of 26/42 from six subjects including Chemistry, Biology, and Physics/Mathematics.
Diploma/Advanced Diploma: Minimum CGPA of 2.0 or equivalent.
