Course Overview

Program Structure

Year 1: Fundamental of Drawing I & II, Fundamental of Painting, Principles of Design, History of Art & Design, Creative Thinking Skills, Typography, Design Communication, Business Communication, Digital Imaging, Digital Photography, Study Skills and Employability, Extra-curricular Learning Experiences 1.
Year 2: History of Animation, Marketing and Consumer Behaviour, 2D Animation, Digital Art, 3D Modelling, Theory of Digital Animation, 3D Animation, Motion Graphics, Audio Visual Technology, Creative Portfolio Creation, Ideation & Innovation, Industry Placement, Business Law – Malaysian Perspective, Extra-curricular Learning Experiences 2.

Entry Requirements

SPM/O-Level: Minimum three (3) Credits.
STPM: Minimum Grade C in two (2) subjects (GP 2.00).
UEC: Minimum Grade B in three (3) subjects.
SKM Level 3: In a related field, with a pass in SPM and one (1) Credit.
Portfolio Assessment: Minimum three (3) pieces of artwork required for review.
English Language Requirements: MUET Band 3, or equivalent qualifications such as IELTS 4.5, TOEFL iBT 33, or Pearson Test of English 43.
