Course Overview

The Diploma in Business Management at UCSI University's Kuching Campus equips students with essential skills in management, marketing, human resources, and accounting, preparing graduates for roles such as entrepreneur, human resource executive, operations executive, business development executive, business analyst, and management consultant.

Program Structure

Year 1: Courses include Financial Accounting 1, Business Essentials, Introduction to Management, Basic and Practice of Marketing, Microeconomics, Introduction to Human Resource Management, Introduction to Finance, Computing Studies, Business Mathematics, Introduction to Statistics, Fundamentals of Business Law, Business Information System, Fundamentals of Organisational Behaviour, and Quality Management and ISO.
Year 2: Courses include Macroeconomics, Consumer Behaviour, Management Accounting, Digital Business and E-Commerce Management, Introduction to International Business, Principle of Business Ethics, Strategic Management, Operation Management, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Strategic Marketing, and Co-Operative Placement.

Entry Requirements

SPM: Pass with a minimum of 3 credits (C).
STPM: Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject.
STAM: Grade Maqbul.
SKM: Pass Level 3 in a related field.
Certificate (Level 3, MQF): Certificate in a related field with a CGPA of 2.0.
Other equivalent qualifications: To be reviewed by the faculty on a case-by-case basis.
