Program Structure

Year 1: Introduction to Management, Fundamentals of Marketing, Event Design and Production, Hospitality and Tourism Communications, Responsible Events Management, Customer Service in Hospitality and Tourism, Cultural, Arts, and Festivals Management, Introduction to Human Resource Management, Special Interest Tourism, Technology for Events, Graphic Design and Photography.
Year 2: Integrated Marketing Communication for Events, Business Events, Event Risk Management, Introduction to Accounting, Cross Cultural Studies, Community Services in Tourism Destination, Entrepreneurship, Managing Event Venues, Public Relations for Events Industry, Industry Placement.
Electives: Japanese, German, Mandarin, Korean, or French Language.

Entry Requirements

Academic Requirements:
- SPM/O-Level: Pass with minimum 3 credits (C).
- STPM: Pass with minimum Grade C (GP 2.00).
- STAM: Pass with minimum Grade Maqbul.
- UEC: Pass with minimum 3 credits.
- Matriculation/Foundation: Pass with minimum CGPA 2.0.
- SKM Level 3: Pass.
- Certificate: Meet Malaysia MQF Level 3.
- Other equivalent qualifications: To be reviewed by the faculty on a case-to-case basis.
English Language Requirements:
- MUET: Band 2.
- SPM English: Grade B+.
- UEC English Language: Grade A2.
- TOEFL IBT: 30-31.
- IELTS: 4.0.
- 1119/O-Level/IGCSE: Grade C.
- Cambridge English Qualification Test / Linguaskill: 140.
- Pearson Test: 36.
- CEFR: B1 (with at least 2 skills at B1).
