Course Overview

The Diploma in Finance at UCSI University's Kuala Lumpur Campus equips students with comprehensive financial knowledge and technical skills, preparing graduates for roles such as Finance Officer, Financial Analyst, and Financial Planner.

Program Structure

Year 1: Fundamentals of economics, management, financial markets, marketing, financial accounting, business ethics, statistics, office tools, organizational behavior, financial management, and entrepreneurship.
Year 2: Advanced topics including Islamic banking and finance, cost and management accounting, banking, financial management, investment fundamentals, personal financial planning, equity investments, information technology, corporate finance, risk management, and cooperative placement.

Entry Requirements

SPM/O-Level: 3 credits including Mathematics and a pass in English.
UEC: Minimum 3 Grade Bs including Mathematics and a pass in English.
STPM: Grade C (CGPA 2.0) in any subject; credit in Mathematics and pass in English at SPM level.
A-Level: Minimum Grade D in any one subject.
English Language Requirements: For local students: MUET Band 2, SPM English Grade B+, UEC English Language Grade A2, TOEFL IBT 30-31, IELTS 4.0, SPM English Language 1119/O-Level/IGCSE Grade C, Cambridge English Qualification Test / Linguaskill 140, Pearson Test 36, CEFR B1 (with at least 2 skills at B1).
