Program Structure

Year 1: Introduction to Management, Hospitality and Tourism Communication, Computing Studies, Tour and Travel Operation, Introduction to Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Introduction to Leisure and Recreation, Writing for Academic Purpose, Leisure and Recreation Risk Management, Fundamentals of Marketing, Introduction to Human Resource Management, Principles of Sport and Leisure Management, Leisure Marketing, Introduction to Accounting.
Year 2: Events Management, Resort, Spa and Wellness, Sport Management, Visitor Attraction Management, Entrepreneurship, Casino, Club and Resort Management, Ecotourism, Leisure Facilities Management, Business Events, Cross Cultural Studies, Co-operative Placement.
Electives: Japanese, German, Mandarin, Korean, or French Language.

Entry Requirements

SPM: Pass with a minimum of 3 credits (C).
O-Level: Minimum 3 credits (C).
UEC: Pass with a minimum of 3 credits (B).
Leisure-related Certificate, SKM (MQF Level 3): Pass Level 3 in a related course and pass SPM with at least 1 credit.
Polytechnic Certificates: Pass.
Other qualifications: Deemed equivalent to SPM/O-Level by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency with a minimum overall average of 50%.
English Language Requirements: MUET Band 2; or SPM English Grade B+; or UEC English Language Grade A2; or TOEFL IBT 30-31; or IELTS 4.0; or 1119/O-Level/IGCSE Grade C; or Cambridge English Qualification Test / Linguaskill 140; or Pearson Test 36; or CEFR B1 (with at least 2 skills at B1).
