Program Structure
- Year 1: Music Research Methods course; preparation for Recital 1
- Year 2: Recital 1 (50-60 minutes performance); preparation for Recital 2
- Year 3: Recital 2 (50-60 minutes performance); Lecture-Recital (60 minutes performance and 2,000-word document); thesis submission (20,000-40,000 words); viva voce examination
Entry Requirements
- Master’s degree accepted by the HEP Senate, or equivalent qualifications
- Performance audition: 25-30 minute recital demonstrating master's level proficiency
- Research proposal: 250-500 words outlining the scope of literature or performance to be studied
- English language proficiency: IELTS Band 5.0 or equivalent
