The Diploma in Medical Imaging at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) Royal College of Medicine Perak (RCMP) equips students with comprehensive knowledge and technical skills in diagnostic radiography, preparing graduates for roles such as radiographer, application specialist, and radiation protection officer.
Program Structure
- Year 1: Foundational courses including Basic Anatomy and Physiology, Fundamental Physics for Radiographers, and Patient Management.
- Year 2: Intermediate subjects such as Radiation Physics, Radiation Protection, and Introduction to Diagnostic Imaging Instrumentation.
- Year 3: Advanced topics including Specialised Diagnostic Imaging Instrumentation, Radiographic Photography and Quality Assurance, and Clinical Medical Imaging.
Entry Requirements
- SPM or equivalent: Pass in Bahasa Melayu and English, with credits in Mathematics, one Science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Science/Applied Science), and three other subjects including Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
- Certificate in Health Sciences with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.
